Punch Cuban Cigars Brand

Found in 1840, Punch Cuban cigars are the second-oldest Cuban brand still in production. Their spicy, medium-bodied cigar line provides great choice in size and price, and are ideal for the occasional smoker.

To take advantage of the British market, the brand took its name from the famous puppet “Punch”, the mascot of the eponymous 19th century British humor magazine. To this day, this vibrant and comically dressed character adorns every cigar box of Punch cigars.

Punch became very popular especially in the United Kingdom, where Winston Churchill himself visited the Monte y Zulueta factory while traveling to Havana. He was honored by having a vitola named after him.

Flavor Characteristics of Punch Cigars

Punch trademark flavors boast of mostly fruity and woody tastes, with a tangy flavor. Slightly stronger than Hoyo de Monterrey cigars, Punch cigars provide a nice smoke, full of character with a rich spicy flavors underpinned by a gentle sweetness.
