Characteristics: Spice and coffee flavored
It was released in 2004 and measures 5 3/8 inches by 52 ring gauge. This sassy cigar that’s known to be one of the most exciting Cuban cigars is also of a tobacco and cedary character.
PARTAGAS SERIE D. NO. 4 RESERVA
Characteristics: Rich and powerful flavor, decadent, earthy edge.
This 4 7/8 by 50 robusto cigar is considered one of Cuba’s most popular cigars. Released in March 2005, it uses older tobacco dating at least 3 years and is recognized for its esthetic appeal. The additional black and silver label, along with its carefully selected wrappers, give the cigar its beauty; and for those who appreciate quality, the aging cigar will acquire an even more exquisite taste.
H. UPMANN MAGNUM 50 EDICION LIMITADA 2005
Characteristics: A powerful, almost raw smoke known to age gracefully and acquire an exquisite taste.
Cigar collectors will acknowledge that it is amongst the greatest cigars. Very few can surpass it, as it is known to improve with time and age. Although it was produced exclusively for 2005 and is limited in its production, it is considered a Cuban cigar winner. It is 6 ½ by 50 and comes in a dark wrapper.
COHIBA SIGLO II
Characteristics: Very spicy and creamy with a bright freshness
Rated to be an outstanding cigar, it is considered a “serious smoke” released in 1992. The Cohiba Siglo II is 5 inches by 42 ring gauge and is similar to Davidoff Chateau Margaux; but, Cuban’s claim the fine flavor is due to a three process fermentation of some of its tobacco.
MONTECRISTO D EDICION LIMITADA 2005
Characteristics: Spicy and comparable to chocolate
A cigar produced exclusively for 2005 that has a tobacco filler known to be sweet.
It is 6 ¾ by 43 in size, is presented in a dark wrapper and has an elegantly slim appeal.
BOLIVAR PETIT CORONA
This cigar is an unusual find amongst short cigars. It is 5 inches by 42, is packed with flavors and richness and gives way to the famous expression “size doesn’t matter”.
