English Market Selection (EMS)Light brown to brown shade of wrapper tobacco leaf. English Market Selection (EMS) is used to designate this shade of wrapper favored by the English market.
In the United Kingdom, an EMS sticker found on boxes of Cuban cigars refers to inventory that has been vetted by Hunters & Frankau, cigar distributors.

EntubarA cigar rolling method that originates from Cuba.
Rather than booking the filler leaves, the roller folds each individual filler leaf back on itself, then bunches the leaves together. Fans of this rolling method say it creates a superior airflow through the cigar, which results in an even draw and burn.

EscaparateA cooling cabinet or room in which cigars are kept at the factory for a few weeks after they have been rolled. The cigars are kept at a temperature of 16° to 18°C (61° to 64°F) with 70% humidity.
