Saint Luis Rey Cuban cigars are superior-quality, handmade
cigars considered among the best Havana cigars available. Introduced in the 1940s, these cigars are made in the
Romeo y Julieta
factory and packed in smart, white boxes.
Although available in limited numbers (approximately 60,000 cigars are produced
each year), Saint Luis Rey Cuban cigars are reasonably priced
and represent an excellent value when compared to Cuban cigars of equal quality and prestige.
These cigars are recognizable by their oily, smooth dark wrappers. Full-bodied
with a highly-refined flavour and superb aroma, Saint Luis Rey cigars do lean
towards the lighter side in strength.
NOTE: Saint Luis Rey Cuban cigars should
not be confused with the similarly named San Luis Rey cigars from Germany, which
are machine-made. Saint Luis Rey Cuban cigars have labels that
are red with white and gold; their German counterparts have black labels.
