Made in Cuba’s best tobacco growing region, Pinar del Rio, Vegueros
Cuban cigars are not a well-known brand among less-experience smokers.
But like other Havana cigar brands, the fine construction and quality of these cigars make them
second-to-none.
Vegueros Cuban cigars have a mild- to medium body with a rich,
well-balanced flavour. Slightly herbaceous, they compare favourably to any of
the more well-known cigar brands, but at a fraction of the cost.
The Fransico Donatièn factory in Pinar del Rio where Vegueros are made,
was one of the first Cuban cigar factories to allow tourists. Available for
export in 1997, Vegueros Cuban cigars were originally produced
for domestic consumption since 1961.
Vegueros have a distinctive green and white cigar band that makes them easily
recognizable. The word "Vegueros" literally means “harvester”.
